X Factor judges soak up the sun

The X Factor judges and their mentoring buddies have been showing off their holiday wardrobes and beach bodies for the judges' houses round.

Pictures released from the judges' houses shows see Cheryl Fernandez-Versini in a stylish long white dress in the south of France and former judge Tulisa exposing her toned abs while she helps out Louis Walsh in Bermuda.

Cheryl, who recently married Frenchman Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini, is joined by rapper Tinie Tempah for her singing retreat to help her pick the best her group has to offer.

As Tulisa showed off her tan with a dazzling white bikini, Mel B and ex-bandmate Emma Bunton hit Mexico in bright neon dresses and Simon Cowell lapped up the Los Angeles sunshine in his usual get up of jeans and a shirt, accompanied by trusty sidekick Sinitta.

Meanwhile, contestant Chloe-Jasmine Whichello's original X Factor audition from 2006 has been unearthed, where she turned up at 16 wearing a pink, jewel-encrusted cowboy hat, talked in a slightly less plummy accent, and did little to impress then judges Simon, Louis and Sharon Osbourne.

Before her audition, she is shown saying: "I crave fame. It's something everybody wants. If everybody in the world was to know who I was - 'Oooh she's won The X Factor, look what she's doing now' - that would be really fun."

But after she sang a diva medley, Simon said: "It's like you've been bred in a laboratory as some music creation. A second of Mariah, a second of Christina, but none of it came out right.

"You represent millions of 16-year-old people in this country who just want to be famous like that."

Chloe-Jasmine, who won four yeses in both of her auditions this year after performing jazz songs, got three nos during her first attempt and threw her hat to the ground as she stormed out, with Simon commenting: "She is every parent's nightmare - she doesn't want to work for a living, 'I want it all now'."
