Zoe Salmon was 'victim of Roxanne Pallett's cruel behaviour'
Northern Ireland television presenter Zoe Salmon has told how she too was a victim of actress and reality TV show contestant Roxanne Pallett.
The shock revelation comes after the 35-year-old former Emmerdale star's apology to fellow soap actor Ryan Thomas, admitting she "overreacted" when she accused him of "punching" her on Celebrity Big Brother.
Her appearance on Channel 5's debut Jeremy Vine show was her first interview since leaving the CBB house on Saturday, which erupted in chaos last week when she accused Thomas (33) of "punching her repeatedly".
After walking out of the house, she apologised and said she had got it wrong, telling Celebrity Big Brother host Emma Willis she feared she was "the most hated woman in Britain".
It has now emerged that Ms Pallett will not return to her job as presenter of the breakfast show on Minster FM after the row - now being dubbed 'punchgate'.
Following the controversial incident, in which the Coronation Street star boxed her arms in a play-fighting manner, Roxanne exited the show upon hearing the live crowd chanting: "Get Roxy out."
But it has since emerged that she also clashed with her Dancing On Ice co-stars in 2009, including 38-year-old ex-Blue Peter and presenter Zoe. The model took to social media to explain how she was treated badly by Roxanne when they both appeared on the ITV talent show.
"In tears for Ryan James Thomas," Zoe tweeted to her 33.7k followers.
"So many of us have suffered because of Roxanne, she's caused hurt and pain. The amount of people coming forward is astonishing."
She added: "Her behaviour scars. I'll never forget how she treated me on Dancing on Ice. I pray she'll change and stop ruining lives."
In the wake of Zoe's strong words, footage has resurfaced of Pallett speaking about the former Miss Northern Ireland in a far from complimentary way.
