Rory McIlroy’s rumoured former flame heats up jungle line-up

By Michelle Smyth

The Irish model who sent the rumour mill into overdrive when she was spotted partying with Rory McIlroy is now set to get pulses racing on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!

Nadia Forde has touched down in Australia and is getting ready for her debut on November 16.

The pretty brunette hit the headlines in July when she was pictured celebrating world No.1 golfer McIlroy's Open victory with him at a Liverpool nightspot. They were reportedly also spotted having a drink in a Dublin bar.

Forde has so far been coy about her connection to the four-time Major winner. She did however describe him as a "lovely guy" and revealed that they were introduced by mutual friends.

However, the 25 year-old Dubliner, who is single, has said she will remain tight-tipped about the rumoured romance.

The model and singer has stipulated in her contract that she will not be expected to talk about Rory.

"That's definitely off the cards. She has never gone into the details of what happened with Rory and she's not about to start now.

"They are still friends and she is not going to sell her principles short to further her career when she can get along quite well on her own bat," a friend of Forde's said.

Nadia said she was not going into the jungle looking for love, but she is not ruling it out either.

The beauty is no stranger to the limelight. She has appeared on Irish television shows including the Late Late Show, was named as one of FHM's Top 100 Sexiest Women and sang the national anthem in front of 50,000 people at the Aviva stadium.

She's currently recording an album and stars in her own reality television show Nadia Goes To Hollywood.

Nadia revealed her phobias include creepy-crawlies, darkness and heights... all of which are in abundance in the Aussie outback.

"It's a case of mind over matter and I am going to have to imagine I am not in my body when I am doing it all. I asked the producers if a helicopter brings a pizza in the middle of the night to everyone. They said definitely not," she laughed.

Nadia will be joined by fellow glamour pusses Playboy model Kendra Wilkinson, presenter Melanie Sykes and the Only Way is Essex star Gemma Collins. Other competitors include rapper Tynchy Stryder, newsreader Michael Buerk, footballer Jimmy Bullard, actor Craig Charles, motorcyclist Carl Fogarty and actress Vicki Michelle.
