It was a bad night for Cheryl Fernandez-Versini on the X Factor as she lost two of her acts on last night's live elimination show.
Jazz singer Chloe-Jasmine Whichello was beaten in the sing-off by eight-strong boyband Stereo Kicks, while 20-year-old Stephanie Nala was shown the door after receiving the fewest public votes.
Whichello (24) failed to impress the judges with her rendition of Will You Still Love Me by The Shirelles but the blonde-haired singer had a cheeky ploy to try to stay on the ITV series. After Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Mel B voted for her to leave the show, Whichello said: “I was going to just ask — can I be the ninth member of Stereo Kicks?”
Fernandez-Versini told presenter Dermot O'Leary: “I think we've lost an amazing character.”
