Culture Night 2019: Belfast bash expands for two-day event
Culture Night, one of the biggest nights in Belfast's cultural calendar, has announced it will this year expand for two days of celebrations.
Culture Night Belfast will take place this year on Friday, September 20 with new addition to the programme Culture Day taking place on Saturday, September 21.
Culture Day will continue where Culture Night left off the evening before with a unique unique blend of arts, culture, creativity and fun in another free, inclusive family-friendly programme.
After the event celebrated it's 10th anniversary in September 2018, organisers of Culture Night Belfast said they had a hard think about what direction they wanted to take the event going into its second decade.
SAVE THE DATE! #CNB19 will take place on FRI 20 SEPT. AND as sure as day follows night, we’re delighted to announce that CULTURE DAY will be taking place on SAT 21 SEPT. We want to make a weekend of it with a daytime programme of cool events with a CNB twist. More news to follow! pic.twitter.com/A93IuZjLds— CultureNight Belfast (@CultureNightBel) April 18, 2019
Culture Night delivered a near £1 million boost to Belfast’s economy in 2017, attracting more than 100,000 visitors, including 18,000 from outside Northern Ireland.
