Grand Opera House holding open auditions for children's roles in Peter Pan


The Grand Opera House in Belfast is looking for two young actors to take on roles in their Christmas pantomime, Peter Pan.

The upcoming production will star Coronation Street actress Claire King and Northern Ireland's May McFettridge in her 28th consecutive panto.

The Grand Opera House is also currently looking for two children to take on the roles of Michael and John Darling.

Open auditions will be held on Saturday, September 9 from 9.30am and no alternative audition dates will be available.

The suitable actors must be over eight years old, with a maximum height of 4 feet 6 inches for the role of Michael and 4 feet 8 inches for the role of John.

For the audition, hopefuls must prepare a monologue, poem or rhyme to present and be prepared to read a short excerpt from the pantomime script.

The deadline to register for the open auditions is Wednesday, September 6 at 5pm.
