Join two Manchester United legends for an evening in Belfast

Two Manchester United legends will be in Belfast in November and you could join them.

There will certainly be plenty to talk about as Norman Whiteside and Paul McGrath regale an audience at the National Stadium at Windsor Park with tales of two stellar careers.

The pair boast 481 United appearances between them during the 1980s and will relive the best stories from their careers.

Whiteside, of course, helped Northern Ireland to British Home Championship glory in 1984, adding to the two FA Cup trophies he won alongside McGrath at United.

The duo also played in two World Cup tournaments each, Whiteside in 82 and 86 for Northern Ireland and McGrath in 90 and 94 for the Republic.

Whiteside remains the youngest player ever to score in an FA Cup final and the youngest player to play in the World Cup finals at just 17 years and 41 days.

McGrath was named PFA Players' Player of the Year for the 92/93 season during his seven year spell at Aston Villa, where he won two League Cup medals. The former defender struggled with alcoholism for many years and told his story in his multi-award-winning autobiography Back from the Brink.

Widely, and rightly, regarded as two of the best players ever to come out of the island of Ireland, it's an unmissable evening for any football fan.

When is the evening and how can I get tickets?

Whiteside and McGrath will be at the National Stadium at Windsor Park on Thursday November 16. The show starts at 8pm and tickets are standard priced £28.
