Outsource Solutions, named the Best Medium Sized Business, is eyeing more growth over the next year after reporting its highest ever turnover in its latest accounts.

The Antrim-based company, which started off as a one-man computer repair store, reported turnover of £4.3m in 2020/21.

Terry Moore, Outsource Solutions’ chief executive and founder, said he was delighted for the entire team at the company.

“Absolutely delighted and really pleased for the entire team at Outsource,” said Terry. “They worked really hard, we have a fantastic and expecting great things in the future as well.”

He added: “We took a number of very brave decisions around some of the solutions. I think the portfolio that we have now is second to none and we are really able to compete on a national and international stage now.

“Most of our business is export led and particularly in the areas of cyber security and hyper cloud. We have an eye on a number of targets in GB so our UK operations will probably see most growth.”

Formed in 2000, Outsource has grown into one of Northern Ireland’s leading IT security and managed services providers. It has 52 employees working at offices in Belfast, Antrim and Cookstown.

During 2021, the company made a strategic decision to seek out and acquire an IT security company to complement the existing business. It recently announced the acquisition of Ansec IA, which the company describes as “the most experienced and technically competent security experts in the market today”.

Outsource has an ambitious growth plan up to 2027, with targets to increase turnover to over £12m.

“Surround yourself with the right people — investing in finding and securing the right staff with the right attitude and positive approach should be the foundation on which a successful business is built and when you find them, don’t lose them,” said Terry.

“Believe in your business and stay positive — nothing in life or business will ever go exactly the way you plan and by understanding that… you can drive through anything the market or customers can throw at you.”
