After supporting the Belfast Telegraph Business Awards for 12 years, Saville AV is proud once again to be providing full technical production for the event, alongside sponsoring the Best Use of Digital and/or Social Media category.

After initially supplying AV equipment, Saville's support has evolved, with 2018 set to be the biggest show yet.

Leaders in the industry for more than 40 years, Saville AV specialises in creating and delivering unrivalled event experiences for a diverse portfolio of clients across Northern Ireland and beyond.

Located on Duncrue Crescent, Saville's roots in Belfast span 20 years, providing technical event design and production, digital event services, AV equipment rental and venue support.

Thanks to its industry-wide reputation, Saville has secured contracts with some of Northern Ireland's leading organisations and venues, together with being selected as the technical production partner of choice for all Belfast Telegraph's events.

Unrivalled resource

Driven by continued investment, Saville has one of the largest AV rental inventories in the industry, ensuring clients can benefit from the most up-to-date event solutions.

The organisation is dedicated to ensuring it's at the forefront of emerging technology, enabling it to deliver solutions which engage audiences and encourage participation.

In the past 18 months, the Belfast branch has invested in new state-of-the-art, high-resolution LED video panels, ideal for indoor events.

The video panels provide event organisers with the perfect alternative to large-scale projection, particularly where space is limited or lighting conditions are challenging.

What's more, the high-resolution video panels enable content creation to be taken to a new level - spectacularly transforming an event space and providing a truly immersive experience for delegates.

Ongoing investment in new technology, as well as continued investment in its people, has ensured Saville aligns itself with clients' evolving requirements, and this has undoubtedly played a significant role in Saville's success over the years.

Priding itself on being ahead of the game, the company launched a dedicated digital department in 2012.

The division has gone from strength to strength, as more organisers recognise the importance of incorporating digital technology in their conferences and live events.

The digital events division provides a host of solutions, from live web streaming and event recording through to interactive voting systems, and digital technology is changing the way the industry operates.

With a team of enthusiastic conference and live event specialists based right here in Belfast, Saville's technical team has an unrivalled level of experience in staging and producing events.

From initial consultation to the planning and final delivery, the team is committed to offering solutions which ensure conferences and live events run effectively and meet even the most stringent and diverse legislative requirements.

Working as an extension of a client's team, Saville's in-house creatives relish involvement in the planning process of an event, helping to realise a client's vision. Its team also adds valuable insight into different technologies and potential logistical challenges, together with ideas to maximise audience engagement, collaboration and participation.

In-house video production

The popularity of video content for events has sky-rocketed recently, thanks to its convenient ability to introduce an event and convey brand messages or relay information in an interactive way. More organisers are also recognising that recording the event means it can be used for future promotional material too.

Following a substantial rise in requests for video content at events, Saville Belfast launched its own in-house studio in 2007.

The Saville studio in Belfast is equipped with three edit stations, all running the latest video production software. This includes Final Cut X, together with Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D and DaVinci Resolve.

It also has its own green screen and voiceover recording facilities, and is often asked to produce TV adverts and content for Ireland's top broadcasters.

New look Saville

In the past 18 months, Saville has undergone a significant period of transformation. Following the retirement of chairman and managing director John Sills, after nearly fifty years at the helm, a management buyout saw Colin Nixey and Andy Dyson take the reins as joint managing directors, and a new Board of Directors created. This, together with the continued expansion of its service offering, as well as a firm commitment of ongoing investment in its people, equipment and industry partnerships, looks set to support the company's ambitious growth plan. Some exciting changes are set to be rolled out officially later this year. Watch this space...
