Baha'is meet in Londonderry

THE Baha'i Council for Northern Ireland has held its first ever meeting in Londonderry.

THE Baha'i Council for Northern Ireland has held its first ever meeting in Londonderry.

Members of the council gathered in the city last weekend for the historic meeting.

Derry man Dr Keith Munro is the council's current chairman.

Secretary Edwin Graham today said they received a warm welcome from local members.

"We have great respect for the Baha'i community in Derry and its activities, and we certainly hope not to leave it too long before making a return visit," said Mr Graham.
