Colin Palin, a 19-year-old information technology student at Magee, gave a detailed presentation at the event, which was held at Craigavad, Co Down.

He spoke about how computer technology can be used as a means of communicating and sharing ideas with others.

He said: "The event was made up of a very diverse group of people and I was thrilled to have the opportunity to take a session."

The school, which takes place each year, brings together people from Ireland and Britain, as well as Europe, and caters for all age groups.
