Taxing concern for drivers

SURELY all car drivers know that they have to tax their vehicles before using them on the road.

So will the DVLNI please stop wasting money on their recent batch of super creative television commercials.

So will the DVLNI please stop wasting money on their recent batch of super creative television commercials.

You know, the one where the guy drives home in his untaxed car and everywhere he drives he meets the big, black, menacing DVLNI computer lurking around every corner.

Every road he takes is met by the sight of the big, black computer and the scary message 'You can't avoid the DVLNI computer'and the threat that if he doesn't tax his car the big, black DVLNI computer will know and will issue him with an automatic fine.

Yet despite this he still manages to get home okay.

As a driver who does tax his car every year can I please ask if someone in the DVLNI could, during their next tea break, go into the room where they keep their big sophisticated all-singing, all-knowing computer and switch the bloody thing on?

Hit the process button and send out all those automatic fines to those people they know haven't bothered taxing their cars instead of spending vast amounts of money-making irrelevant television commercials.
