Belfast fashion spy: I get my style ideas from Olivia Palermo

Our fashion reporter Rachel Dean checks out all the style in Victoria Square, Belfast.

Why? I would describe my style as monochrome but still very feminine. I love to match key pieces with high street items.

Who? I get a lot of style ideas from Olivia Palermo. I think she is so classic and on-trend.

Why? I’m pretty laid back with my style and change it according to the season. Currently, I really like comfy jumpers and autumnal/winter colours in my style.

Who? I like Leighton Meester’s style because it’s feminine but very relaxed and achievable.

Why? I would describe my look as unique and quirky. I like stuff that is eye-catching and different — I wear a lot of faux fur.

Who? I follow Kendall Jenner on Instagram and I would definitely model my style on her. I love her new collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger — the clothes are so modern and a little edgy.

Ciara McCoy (27), account executive, Maghera

Why? My style is very chilled out with a slight edge. I like to have a little pop of colour in all my outfits, just to add a bit of energy to my look.

Who? The singer Foxes has such quirky looks. She’s so stylish. I definitely steal a few ideas from her.

Why? I’ve always been a ‘girly girl’ my whole life. My style is simple and pretty, without anything too bold or crazy.

Who? I watch a lot of YouTube clothing hauls and ‘look books’, especially by Rachel Leary and Desi Perkins.

Why? My look is always something very classy and feminine. I love floral prints at the moment, they are so pretty.

Who? Holly Willoughby posts an ‘outfit of the day’ picture everyday on her Instagram and I just love her different styles. I would take a few points from her classy looks.

Why? My style is very casual with a quirky twist. I usually wear neutral colours and add a statement piece which is always a piece of chunky jewellery.

Who? Fearne Cotton is quite unusual, too. I like to see which statement piece she has chosen for each outfit.

Why? My style is very modern and quite edgy. I always keep up with fashion trends and I’m loving the rock chick look at the moment, I think it’s cool.

Who? I love Alexa Chung’s style because it’s so fresh and up-to-date.
