Belfast Fashion Spy: The Kardashians always seem to get it right

Holly Dickie (19), student, Ballymena

Why? I am usually dressed very casually because I play a lot of sport but I love a nice coat. I think that a coat can really make an outfit.
Who? I think Meghan Markle is great, I take inspiration from her — she always wears great coats.
Charlotte Chestnutt (25), trainee solicitor, Ballymoney
Wore what? Coat, £150, Jigsaw; bag, £80, Longchamp; shoes, previously my mum’s, Chanel; dress, £45, Warehouse.
Why? I like to be dressy and tend to favour black clothes. I think that black is simple but timeless.
Who? If I had to pick a fashion icon, I would have to say Olivia Palermo. Her style is quite edgy but she manages to pull it off so well.
Alex Simmons (17), student, Portadown

Why? I like being comfortable in my clothes, especially when I am shopping. I think that is why I am really into the sporty look that is in style right now.
Who? I really like the Kardashians — they always seem to get it right.

Why? I have quite a simple style. I like to experiment with bold accessories to create new looks.
Who? I really like Holly Willoughby. She tends to wear bold colours yet still manages to look sophisticated.

Why? I like to be dressy and casual, to make an impression yet also be comfy.
Who? I really like Taylor Swift because she switches it up so often. Every time she brings out a new album her hair and style changes and I think it is great.
Lauren Kelso (17), student, Ballymena

Why? I dress differently depending on my mood, but I like being smart casual. I like wearing burgundy and greens.
Who? I like to have an individual style and don’t tend to copy anyone in particular, but I think that Holly Willoughby dresses well.

Why? I would say that I have a classic style. It also depends on the season, but I like clean lines and follow the trends on Instagram.
Who? I love the We Are Twinset bloggers on Instagram. They take every day basic items that you would have in your wardrobe or ones that you would walk past in a shop and give them a stylish twist.

Why? I like to be dressy when I have to, but I also love to layer when I can be more casual, especially in the winter.
Who? I love Emily Shak, I think her style is great. I follow her on Instagram and regularly look to see what she is wearing.
