Belfast Metropolitan College host fashion show

Belfast Metropolitan College Fashion and Design Students hosted the first ever fashion show at the iconic Titanic Signature Building.

The Belfast City Council sponsored event was attended by UK's leading fashion designer James Steward whose client list boasts A list celebrities such as Kylie Minogue, Victoria Beckham and Coronation Street and Emmerdale stars.

James judged the student design awards and chose BTec Level Two student Senan O'Neill as the Student Designer of the Year. Senan has not only received work experience with James in Leeds, but flights from leading leisure airline and cash from the Equality Commission. Also pictured is model Isobella Gregson and Patricia Smith (second from left), who is showcasing Senan's winning design. 22 year old Senan from the Commons Brae area in Belfast is delighted to have won such a prestigious prize.

He says; "I can't believe that I have won and getting work experience with James Steward is just priceless for my CV. James even told me that I'll get to help out making designs for some of his celebrity clients, it's going to be a fantastic opportunity for me.
