Eva Longoria takes months to plan for Cannes
Eva Longoria loves how guests take fashion risks at Cannes.
Eva Longoria plans her outfits for the Cannes Film Festival months in advance.
The former Desperate Housewives star attends the annual ceremony every year, and pulled out all the stops for the 2017 event, dazzling in pieces such as a high-necked, long sleeved sparkling and sheer gown by Pamella Roland and a gorgeous gold Marchesa dress featuring tulle sleeves and embellishment.
Speaking to Britain's OK! Magazine on how she preps for Cannes, Eva revealed it's a lengthy process.
"My stylist plans for months and months," she explained. "She takes Cannes very seriously, from the airport outfit to walking into the hotel, so there's a lot of different looks and planning that goes into it."
When it comes to her beauty looks, the 42-year-old relies on L'Oreal teams to make her shine and joked she sits and "doesn't do anything, really!"
For the brunette beauty, the prestigious film event marks one of her favorite red carpet outings, as it gives her the chance to doll up in very glamorous outfits.
"I love that it's photos only, which means it's really focused on fashion," she noted. "This is a red carpet that you can take big risks on; it pushes the boundaries of fashion way more than any other red carpet - way more than the Oscars, more than the BAFTAs. This is the carpet where you can show off and be a part of that fashion history."
And Eva has certainly come a long way since her debut at Cannes. She recently took to Instagram to share a photo from her first visit to the festival, where she wore a low-cut embellished minidress.
"Flashback to my first year in Cannes 12 years ago! I look like a baby! Fun fact: I had my dress on backward," she captioned the shot. "Yep. Backwards and didn't know it!!!!"
