Fashion event is Absolutely the Business for women

Absolutely the Business, the business and fashion event for working women, now in its second year, will be held on Thursday March 24 in the Culloden Estate & Spa.

The organisers of the sell out event, Caroline McLean and Lesley Delaney of Absolute Marketing Communications said their aim was to create a show that is relevant for women with busy lives and to "showcase business wear that is attainable yet inspirational".

Performances from Strictly come Dancing professionals will open the show. Latin dances including the Rumba and the Cha Cha will set the mood for the vibrant colours of the spring and summer fashion collections supplied by Victoria Square and the Lisburn Road.

Caroline McLean said: “This spring/summer is all about colour - from bright yellows to luscious pinks, these are perfect options for chic women, who are not afraid to stand out.

"What better way to say bye to a dreary dull winter than to make a statement with one of this seasons big colours. The main business wear theme this spring is a throw -back to the 50’s and 60’s with a bold and edgy take on tailored classics.”

Pamela Ballantine and Laurence Llewlyn Bowen will co-host the proceedings which will culminate in a concert with Brian Kennedy (pictured) and his band.
