Fashion Spy Belfast - 'Rachel Bilson has feminine style but Rihanna's clothing range is not hot'

Kerry McKittrick checks out the style in CastleCourt Shopping Centre

Suzanne Neill (22), Retail assistant, Magherafelt

Wore what? Jacket, £60, leggings, £10, bag, £40, all from River Island; shirt, £22, New Look; boots, £20, Dunnes Stores; hat, £6, Primark.

Why? I love River Island's clothes because they're right up to date and I like to follow trends. I don't like high-heeled trainers. They're not my style and they can make your feet look big.

Who? Rachel Bilson has a nice feminine style. I don't like Rihanna's clothing range in the shops because it's not my look at all.

Bridgeen Morrison (27) Receptionist, Londonderry

Wore what? Jacket, £7, dress, £7 and boots, £15, all from Primark; scarf, £15, Topshop; bag, £30, River Island.

Why? My style tends to be comfortable and easy to put together, so I wear a lot of dresses which can be co-ordinated into an outfit easily. I don't like football tops on girls as they're not flattering.

Who? Cheryl Cole wears some very nice dresses. I don't like Miley Cyrus' style. She can take it too far.

Kathryn McGahie (24) Teacher, Cookstown

Wore what? Hat, £4, Primark; scarf, present; coat, £90, Topshop; boots, £35, Blacks; bag, £100, Precious.

Why? I like a casual style and I shop in Oasis because their styles are really feminine. I don't like those little denim shorts people wear with tights. They are far too cold for this time of year.

Who? I like Kate Middleton and the way she interprets trends. I don't like Lady Gaga, as she's too out there for my taste.

Caoimhe Lavery (21) Student, Belfast

Wore what? Cardigan, £9, Primark; shirt, £15, H&M; trousers, £30, Vero Moda; bag, £20, River Island; pumps, from Dubrovnik, £10.

Why? I like to wear lots of black and white which II then accessorise with a pop of colour like this bag. I don't like matted fake fur. If it's not good quality then it just looks cheap.

Who? Victoria Beckham has a nice, conservative look. The way Cher Lloyd dresses is improving.

Dionne Campbell (20) Sales assistant, Belfast

Wore what? Jacket, £25, Primark; shirt, £25, Pull And Bear; skirt, £17, New Look; shoes, £25, Topshop; bag, Anna Smith, present.

Why? I love anything red and I try to be a little different in what I wear. I don't like boring outfits, like jeans and a top.

Who? I really like the vintage look of Dita Von Teese; but I think Britney Spears can look too chavvy for my taste.
