Fashion Spy: Holly Willoughby’s style is classy and girly


Our reporter Rachel Dean checks out the style in Victoria Square, Belfast and finds plenty of trendy people out and about.

Helen Gillan (49), stay-at-home mum, Feystown

Why? My style would be very modern. I love wearing colour as I would hate for my outfits to look bland and boring.

Who? Holly Willoughby’s style is classy, pretty and girly.

Why? I love summer fashion because of all the bright colours and loose materials. My style is very casual — I’m always in a big, baggy shirt.

Who? I love Khloe Kardashian’s style. I prefer her look over her sisters’ as she’s much more sophisticated.

Why? I love vintage style and I always try to include it into my looks.

Who? Alexa Chung isn’t afraid to be different. I love how she can be a tomboy but still have that edgy, girly, twist.

Why? My look is stylish, sophisticated, and never casual. I like to look fancy and feminine.

Who? Sarah Jessica Parker’s flowing skirts and trendy shoes are wonderful. I’m a shoe addict and wish I had her collection.

Why? My style is simple, classy and girly. I prefer lighter, softer colours as they look clean and feminine.

Who? Rita Ora’s style is daring and bright. She is never afraid to try new things with her look.

Alice Bennett (21), student, Belfast

Wore what? Top, £20, Abercrombie and Fitch; jacket, £40, Stradivarius; jeans, £40, Topshop; shoes, £30, Nine West.

Why? My style is girly. I usually wear neutral and black colours to keep it simple but stylish.

Who?  I like Gigi Hadid’s style because she wears block colours, and still looks so fashionable and modern.

Why? I would definitely describe my style as quirky and out there. I like to be an individual.

Who? I usually do my own thing but if I had to mention one celebrity it would be Fearne Cotton because she has fun with her look.
