Fashion spy: Holly Willoughby’s style is girly and dressy

Our reporter Rachel Dean checks out the style in Victoria Square, Belfast and finds plenty of trendy people out and about.

Fiona Hegarty (38), dietician, Londonderry

Why? My look is always girly. I like lighter colours — I don’t like anything too bold or showy.

Who? Holly Willoughby’s style is girly and dressy. She often wears pretty, floral patterns.

Why? My style is elegant and very conservative, at times. Sometimes I change it up and my look gets more edgy and fun.

Who? I have two style icons: Kate Middleton for occasions and Kate Hudson for every day looks.

Why? I would say my look is quite classy. I keep my style simple and wear lots of neutral colours.

Who? Keira Knightley’s style is so classy. She’s a true English rose.

Why? I love the typical modern girly look — I base all my style choices on this.

Who? Blogger, Suzanne Jackson has a way with fashion. Her looks are on-trend and upbeat.

Why? I would describe my style as simple with softer, pastel colours.

Who? I don’t really ever copy celebrity fashion, but, I do like Emma Watson’s look. It’s well-tailored and feminine.

Shannon Beattie (21), retail supervisor, Holywood

Why? I would say my style is very modern but simple. I get everything I wear off the high street.

Who? I love that Megan McKenna’s look is so stylish but still so achievable.

Why? My style is quirky and very relaxed. I prefer winter season for fashion — I love pairing jumpers and hats.

Who? I really admire how unique Lady Gaga’s style is. It’s tailored to her personality and she doesn’t care about following trends.

Hannah McGrath (19), student, Lisburn

Why? I think my style is quite preppy. I keep my look simple, fresh and pretty.

Who? Gabriella Wilde has that traditional feminine look. It’s smart but modern.
