Fashion Spy: 'I like Michelle Keegan's style for a night out but Lady Gaga is too much'

By Kerry McKittrick

Our reporter checks out the style at High Life fashion tea at Uluru restaurant in Armagh and finds plenty of trendy people out and about.

Marianne Bruce (28)

Insurance broker, Kells

Wore what? Jacket, £15, bag, £12, Primark; top, £10, New Look; trousers, £26, DV8; shoes, £30,

Why? I love trends, but I try to do the budget version. I would never wear tracksuits other than at the gym.

Who? I quite like Michelle Keegan's style for a night out, but I think that Lady Gaga's fashion sense is too much.

Danielle Toal (33)

Office manager, Armagh

Wore what? Top, £50, Brown Sugar, Moira; trousers, £20, H&M; shoes, £20, New Look; bag, £50, Topshop.

Why? I'm wearing lighter colours because of the good weather, but I like to be comfortable, too. I don't wear jumpsuits - I'm too short for them.

Who? Victoria Beckham is so stylish with amazing dresses. I'm not really into the type of funky things that singer Paloma Faith tends to wear.

Chloe Bloomer (23)

Nurse, Armagh

Wore what? Coat, £27, trousers, £20, H&M; top, £16, River Island; shoes, £12, Primark; bag, £40, Broadwalk.

Why? I wear flats and a bit of colour. I like skinny jeans and jackets, too. I'm always afraid of having too much on show, so I either wear a slightly more revealing top or skirt, but not both.

Who? I like Pippa Middleton, as her style is simple and elegant. I'm not keen on anyone who wears anything too out there, like the TOWIE girls.

Michelle Lennon (29)

Nurse, Clady

Wore what? Coat, £20, bag, £15, Primark; shirt, £13, Heatons; jeans, £25, New Look; shoes, £25, Dorothy Perkins.

Why? My style is smart casual, so I like tailoring it with a bit of colour. I never wear Crocs other than at work.

Who? Holly Willoughby has a great style and dresses for her shape. I'm not keen on Jessie J as her style is a bit dark for me.

Donna McConnell (27)

Fundraiser, Belfast

Wore what? Scarf, £7, H&M; jacket, £50, Zara; top, £30, Whistles; jeans, £9, TK Maxx; bag,

present, Topshop; shoes, £4, Primark.

Why? My style is quite girly and I go for lots of pink and floral patterns. I never wear neon colours as they don't go with my pale skin.

Who? Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is quite feminine in her style and always look great. I don't like anything over the top, such as Nicki Minaj.
