Kerry McKittrick checks out all the glitz at The Belfast Telegraph Woman Of The Year Awards at the Ramada Hotel, Belfast.

Andrea  Hunter (42) Business development manager, Donaghadee

Wore what? Dress, £40, Next; bag, £15, sandals, £20, New Look.

Why? At work my style is very corporate with lots of suits and dresses, so I go more casual at weekends in jeans and Converse trainers. I don't wear hoodies anymore, though, as I think I'm a little past that now.

Who? The likes of Gwyneth Paltrow and Cameron Diaz have nice, easy-going styles. I don't go in for anything too provocative, which Katie Price can do sometimes.

Linzi Rooney (29) Boutique owner, Belfast

Wore what? Jacket, £125, bag, £36, Studio Souk; dress, £10, charity shop; belt, £4, H&M.

Why? I like classic things with neat lines, although I never wear clothes that are actually in trend. I find what works for me and stick to it.

Who? I love what Natalie Portman chooses to wear as she has a classic style, but still manages to look bohemian. I don’t like how Kim Kardashian dresses — she’s too perfect, almost like a mannequin.

Paula Donaghy (34) PR account manager, Belfast

Wore what? Dress, £60, ASOS; bag, £30, Coast; shoes, £150, Michael Kors.

Why? My style is classic with a bit of an edge and I do like bright colours. I don’t really wear anything overly revealing.

Who? I like Laura Whitmore and Fearne Cotton for their quirkiness, but Cheryl Fernandez-Versini is too styled.

Leanne Scott (34) Account director, Saintfield

Wore what? Dress, £50, McElhinneys; necklace, £28, Topshop; shoes, £30, Miss Selfridge; bag, £20, Rebecca Jane.

Why? It depends on the day, but I like bright colours and big accessories. I would never wear leggings, I just don’t like them.

Who? I love Olivia Palermo as she’s big into her accessories like me. Madonna dresses too young.

Colette Wilson (36) Marketing manager, Cookstown

Wore what? Dress, £150, Spoilt Belle; bag,

grandmother’s, Bijou Terner; shoes, £25, DV8.

Why? For work my style is smart casual and I quite like to dress up in nice heels and a dress. I don’t really wear tracksuits any more.

Who? I like Victoria Beckham and her dresses, but Paloma Faith’s style can be a bit much.
