Fashion Spy: Olivia Palermo just has such great style


Our reporter Kerry McKittrick checks out the style in Victoria Square, Belfast and finds plenty of trendy people out and about.

Emma McCloskey (22), contracts negotiator, Maghera

Wore what? Dress, £13, boots, £19, Primark; bag, £110, Guess.

Why? It’s really all about bags for me, but I try to be smart yet colourful.

Who? I try to dress a little like Olivia Palermo because she has a great style.

Why? My style is girly but quite practical, too. I tend to go for jeans with a nice top.

Who? Holly Willoughby has a great figure and I love her fashion choices.

Why? I like bright colours, particularly a bright jacket which I will style up with a bright scarf.

Who? My guilty pleasure on Twitter is Michelle Mone. Her style, particularly for evening wear, is really glam.

Why? I do like labels so I shop in quite a few outlets to get better prices.

Who? I still really like how Kate Middleton dresses. She has a really nice country casual style.

Why? My style is casual but I do like colours. Being comfortable is also important.

Who? Cara Delevingne has a nice relaxed style that I always enjoy.

Sara McLean (19), student, Maghera

Wore what? Jacket, £20, trousers, £25, New Look; top, £10, sandals, £10, Primark; bag, £265, Michael Kors.

Why? I go for a more feminine look when I’m out and about, but when I’m at university it’s all hoodies and jeans.

Who? Taylor Swift has a nice girly style.

Why? I try to stay smart and on trend because of what I do, but I’m always comfortable.

Who? Sofia Loren oozes style.
