Fashion spy: We hit the city's streets for a good snoop


Our reporter Rachel Dean checks out the style in Victoria Square, Belfast and finds plenty of trendy people out and about.

Sarah-Louise Heaney (25), staff nurse, Belfast

Wore what? Top, £8, sunglasses, £3, both Primark; trousers, £15, shoes, £25, both New Look.

Why? My look is feminine. I love getting dressed up, especially in the summer.

Who? I love Megan McKenna’s look. She has the ‘Miss Pap’ style which is current and feminine.

Why? My style is girly and casual. I dress for the season. I love matching white with pastel colours at the moment.

Who? YouTuber Chloe Boucher’s style is relaxed and on-trend.

Why? My look could be defined as feminine. I love bold colours and patterns as they give an outfit a bit of life.

Who? I really like Amandla Stenberg’s style because it’s different. I love that none of her outfits look the same as each other.

Why? My style is classy and glamorous. I love items with vibrant prints and/or lots of sparkles.

Who? Audrey Hepburn’s style is a great inspiration of mine. Her style was classic and timeless and she made a huge impact on the fashion industry.

Why? I would describe my style as simple and modern. I’m always shopping from high street stores.

Who? Kendall Jenner’s style can be so casual but still cool.

Why? I would say I’m quite trendy and put effort into my look. My style is a mixture of boho and classy.

Who? Kate Moss has a fashion edge which I like. She always looks so relaxed with her style choices and it works really well for her.

Why? I’m very girly and wear dresses a lot because they are much prettier. I love lighter colours in my outfits, especially pink.

Who? I’d love to be as stylish as Mollie King. She looks so cute.

Why? My style could be described as casual dressy. I would say I’m up to date with trends and keep my look fresh.

Who? Selena Gomez’s style is fun and unique. Sometimes she has an alternative look and other times it’s really classy.
