Fashion spy:Millie Mackintosh has a nice girly style but Tulisa looks chavvy

Kerry McKittrick checks out the style in Belfast’s Victoria Square shopping centre and finds plenty of trendy people out and about.

Padraigin Cahill (21)

Youth worker, Belfast

Wore what? Coat, £80, Miss Selfridge; shirt, £50, Urban Outfitters; jeans, £40, Topshop; handbag, £40, boots, £40, River Island.

Why? I like to be colourful, smart and a little different. I don't like anything too casual like puffa jackets.

Who? I love Fearne Cotton, and Ferne from TOWIE because neither are afraid to be different. I don't like how Mel B has been dressing at all, though.

Student, Crossmaglen

Wore what? Jumper, £15, Matalan; coat, £45, Quiz; leggings, £10, River Island; boots, £10, eBay; bag, £40, Michael Kors copy.

Why? I wear mostly leggings and jeans so my style is quite casual. I'm not keen on flat brogues on girls as I don't think they're flattering.

Who? Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has a nice pretty style but I would never go for what Kelly Osbourne wears.

Clodagh Lavery (18)

Student, Antrim

Wore what? Coat, £45, boots, £15, Tesco; jumper, £9, bag, £15, jeans, £20, New Look.

Why? I am definitely a bargain hunter and I like to be comfortable, but girly. I don't like it when people wear full tracksuits, though, it looks silly.

Who? Millie Mackintosh has a nice girly style but I think Tulisa looks chavvy.

Naoimh Glass (24)

Radiographer, Draperstown

Wore what? Coat, £60, jumper, £40, Miss Selfridge; dress, £50, AX Paris; bag, £30, New Look; boots, £35, River Island.

Why? My style can vary but at the moment it's quite preppy and girly. I'm really not keen on high-waisted trousers because they're not flattering.

Who? Michelle Keegan has some lovely fitted dresses but I don't like Alexa Chung's style. It's a bit too messy for me.

Genevieve Elliott (21)

Student, Ballymena

Wore what? Coat, £25, New Look; dress, £40, Lipsy; shoes, £30, TK Maxx; bag, £20, Michael Kors.

Why? My style is quite high street and I tend to throw on dresses, as they go with everything. I also wear a lot of trainers but I would never wear a tracksuit to go out.

Who? Kate Moss is my style icon and always looks fantastic. I don't like how Miley Cyrus dresses, as she shows off too much.
