Jessica Alba and Jenna Dewan Tatum design sandals for charity

Jessica Alba and Jenna Dewan Tatum have designed a collection of matching mother and daughter sandals.

Jessica Alba and Jenna Dewan Tatum have designed a range of sandals in support of nonprofit organisation Baby2Baby.

The actresses have teamed with Brazilian footwear company Havaianas to create an exclusive collection of matching mother and daughter sandals.

Baby2Baby board member Jessica and ambassador Jenna were inspired by fashion-forward colours and their mutual love of summer when it came creating their designs.

"We are excited to work with Baby2Baby and support their cause," said Havaianas' USA president Marcio Moura. "This collaboration was a natural fit between Havaianas and Baby2Baby and we are excited to work with their long time supporters, Jessica Alba and Jenna Dewan Tatum."

The sandals are priced from $22 to $34 (£17-£26) and are offered in U.S. women's sizes six-12 and a toddler size nine to a youth size four. Jessica and Jenna's designs include two sets of flip flops, with one style comprised of a mint green design with pineapple and watermelon motifs, and the other a light gold colour featuring a gold heart embellishment.

Sandals will be available in select Havaianas stores and online, with 100 per cent of the proceeds going to Baby2Baby, an organisation which provides low-income children with diapers, clothing and other necessities.

"We are thrilled to be partnering with Havaianas and two inspirational moms, our Baby2Baby Board Member Jessica Alba and our Angel Jenna Dewan Tatum, to create these special Mommy + Me flip flops just in time for Mother's Day. We are grateful that every pair of flip flops will help support the low-income children Baby2Baby serves with all the basic essentials every child deserves," added Kelly Sawyer Patricof and Norah Weinstein, co-presidents of Baby2Baby.
