Jessica Alba insists she doesn’t want her “tiny” pre-baby body back.
The stunning star is regularly considered one of Hollywood’s sexiest women, and often generates media attention for her beauty.
Jessica and her husband Cash Warren announced the arrival of their second daughter Haven Garner Warren, on Sunday evening. The actress gave birth on Saturday, and the new arrival joins her three-year-old daughter Honor Marie.
Jessica insists she doesn’t want to be as “tiny” as what she was before she entered motherhood.
“I don’t care to be 105 lbs. I was tiny. I’m 5ft 7in. I never said I wanted that body back,” she explained in an interview with the Sunday Times Style magazine.
Jessica blames her hectic work schedule for her weight loss.
The 30-year-old actress, who is best known for her films including Honey, Sin City, Fantastic Four and its sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, says despite her small frame, there were actresses who were far more petite.
“I was working a lot. They would say, ‘You have 15 minutes to eat’ and I would graze. A 30-minute break for lunch meant 15 minutes of touch-ups. When do you have time to eat? I was stressed. I don’t like to eat when I’m stressed,” she admitted.
“I was still not the smallest girl. There are actresses who are smaller than me. I was considered kind of big. The camera puts 10lb-15lb on you. So if you are 130 lbs. and 5ft 7in, on screen you will seem like a bigger girl.
“You can obsess about that. It’s not going to make you a better actress.”
