Joséphine de la Baume: Curves were confusing

Joséphine de la Baume realized you “can’t eat Nutella every day” when she was a teen.

The French actress-and-model’s curvaceous frame is envied by females across the globe, and she has recalled the moment she developed a more womanly body.

Joséphine initially thought she would like to be a ballet dancer, although realised her body type wasn’t really suited to the career.

“I don’t think I was made for that, with my curvy body,” she told ES magazine.

“When I was a teenager, 18, 19, my body changed really quickly and it was a little confusing for me.

Suddenly you can’t eat Nutella every day.”

Joséphine has a more relaxed attitude to body image nowadays. She does still admit to being “compulsive” about keeping fit though.

“For a few years I was thinking about it too much. It’s easy to become a little obsessional,” she confessed. “I’m quite compulsive about exercise. For two months, I’ll exercise every day, then for three months I’ll do nothing.

“I love food, so exercise is important for me.”
