Kelsea Ballerini relies on Nicole Miller fashions to get musical message across

The young country sensation glows in the romper she wears in the music video for new single, Yeah, Boy.

Country singer Kelsea Ballerini depends on the help of fashion designer Nicole Miller to express her musical message to fans.

The 23-year-old has seen her star rise swiftly in the music industry after the 2015 release of her debut album, The First Time, and she doesn't think she would have made such a splash if she wasn't always wearing the proper clothes.

Nicole Miller designed the black romper Ballerini sports in the upcoming music video for her single Yeah, Boy, and Kelsea couldn't be happier with the result of their latest collaboration.

"I really wanted the wardrobe to reflect the music on my album, The First Time, which is youthful, fun, flirty and bright,” Ballerini tells Billboard. “My stylist (Krista Roser) was able to put together a custom wardrobe where it's all sparkly and bright colours, but still incorporates pieces that I love, like short shorts, rompers, and big boots.

"It reflects the music I love to make, which is the beautiful thing about fashion."

The black romper certainly makes a statement, as the piece is decked out with sexy sheer cut-outs and bright neon accoutrements that resemble LED lights.

Nicole has been there for Ballerini since the very beginning of the rising country star's career and she is happy to assist her by designing Kelsea's couture styles for the red carpet and beyond.

"The women that inspire me have always been confident, driven, and talented in their own ways, and Kelsea is exactly that girl,” Miller shares. “She's also not afraid to try something new, which makes designing for her so fun. When I work on custom pieces like the one I made for the Yeah, Boy video, it's important that the women I design for reflect those aspects of my brand. I am always a designer who thinks of the woman, and how to empower her first."
