Kris Jenner learnt from style errors
Kris Jenner’s clothing collection was inspired by “bad fashion mistakes”.
The 55-year-old reality television personality, best known for her appearance on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, is launching The Kris Jenner Kollection next month.
The line consists of ready-to-wear fashion and accessories, and will debut on QVC.
Kris has revealed that the label was created as a consequence of trial and error throughout her life.
“I was inspired by a lifetime of experience and making some really bad fashion mistakes,” she told People.
“Once you hit 50, if you don’t get it right by then there’s no hope. What I wanted to do was build a foundation of clothing that people could have forever. Staple pieces and spice it up with some really exciting pieces.”
Kris’ daughters, Kourtney, Kim and Khloé also sell their K-Dash by Kardashian collection on the network. The TV star insists she isn’t relying on her fashion-forward daughters for advice with her clothing range.
“I haven’t asked them one question,” she said.
“To make it authentic and something that really came from me it needed to be really developed by me.”
The Kris Jenner Kollection will range in price from $35 for a T-shirt up to $140 for a coat or embellished dress.
The launch will comprise of five pieces on September 8, with the full collection to go on sale in October.
