Lady Gaga is the new face of Tudor watch company
David Beckham also represents the brand as a global ambassador.
Lady Gaga has been named the first female ambassador of watch company Tudor.
The Born This Way hitmaker joins David Beckham, who was brought on as a global ambassador in May (17).
In a statement on the company's website, Tudor bosses explain they hired Gaga because of her status in the music industry and her work as an activist.
"When you try and think of a daring individual in today's popular culture, it is hard to find anyone more fitting the description than Lady Gaga," the message reads. "Behind the glitter and glam, her provocative style and political statements, she is about total showmanship."
"Lady Gaga is not just about entertainment and show business," it continues. "She shakes things up. With undivided commitment she is a vocal activist. Her message takes many shapes and forms, among which music is the main but not the sole medium. Lady Gaga stands out in the way she dresses, but also with her charity agenda and non-profit work..."
Lady Gaga wears a Tudor Black Bay Red watch in the #BornToDare fashion campaign, adding a goth look complete with black hair, heavy make-up, and large leather shoulder pads.
The 31-year-old has a strong appreciation for fashion and accessories, but she has previously insisted she would never create her own line because she has too much respect for designers.
"If I ever do anything in fashion, it will always just be as a muse or as an aesthetic, creative," she told the New York Post last year (16). "I like to be a part of helping artists find themselves and feel good about who they are.
"I would never for a second claim to be proficient in fashion design (just) because I know good looks."
