Madonna ‘buys £50,000 anti-cellulite device’

Madonna has reportedly spent £50,000 on an anti-cellulite machine.

The 52-year-old is famed for her rigorous exercise routine, and is regularly spotted leaving the gym showing off her super honed physique.

Sources have now revealed that the songstress has intensified her fitness routine and has bought the Cellupulse anti-cellulite acoustic wave therapy device in a bid to keep her skin smooth and cellulite-free.

“Obviously Madonna has always been body-conscious, but lately she’s taken it up a notch,” a source told British magazine Star.

“She uses the machine twice a week and measures her entire body every day as she wants to make sure it is working. She has a body-fat percentage scale too, and if she goes up just one per cent, she is absolutely miserable.”

The machine is said to increase blood flow to the user’s legs and stimulate the production of collagen to create smoother skin and rid the body of the dreaded orange-peel look.

Madonna is also struggling to find a trusted fitness expert to assist her daily workouts, according to the source. The American singer famously worked with trainer to the stars Tracy Anderson, but parted ways with her in 2009.

“Losing Tracy Anderson as her trainer was a big blow. She really counted on her to keep her body toned,” the source added.

“Since then, Madonna has had a variety of trainers but no one she trusted or relied on nearly as much. Tracy lived with her and became part of her inner circle – she hasn’t had that since.”

Madonna is currently working on new material and wants to impress with her sculptured figure. The mother-of-four wants to look her best before releasing a new album in order to compete with the current crop of chart stars.

“When she comes back with new music she is going to be competing against young girls in their twenties, like Lady Gaga. It’s important she feels as good as she can,” the source explained.

“As well as her cellulite machine, she also has personal chefs, oxygen facials and hand rejuvenation to keep her looking her best.”
