Miley Cyrus has teamed up with designers at sneaker company Converse to create a shoe line to celebrate Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) Pride month (Jun17).
The Converse Pride Collection consists of 22 pairs of shoes emblazoned with rainbow designs and the YES TO ALL motto.
"Yassss (sic)! I'm teaming up w @converse on the #Pride collection supporting the LGBTQ community!," Cyrus shared on Instagram on Sunday (11Jun17). "Thank u for joining the @happyhippiefdn family and helping us continue our fight for equality & justice! #YesToAll !"
"Whatever your gender, orientation, identity, Converse believes everyone is free to be whoever they are," a message on Converse's website adds.
The sneakers will range in price from $35 (£28) to $110 (£87). Proceeds from the collection will go to the It Gets Better Project and The Happy Hippie Foundation, which was launched in 2014 by the Wrecking Ball hitmaker to help homeless LGBTQ youths.
Last year (16), the 24-year-old announced the launch of a philanthropic campaign called Hopeful Hippies as part of her the Happy Hippie Foundation to empower young Americans following the election of controversial U.S. President Donald Trump in November.
"Many of us aren't sure what to do after the election, but now more than ever it's important for us to come together and take action to work for the America we want," she wrote in an Instagram caption attached to a video announcement in November (16).
"That's why we're launching #HopefulHippies, and I'm asking you to get involved in your own community and make a commitment to the issues you care about, whether it's donating, volunteering or showing your support!"
