Nicole Kidman rocks black lace dress at 2017 CMT Awards

Nicole Kidman made a sartorial statement at the 2017 CMT Awards in a black lace dress from Virgil Abloh's Off-White.

Nicole Kidman looked lovely in lace as she stepped out at the 2017 CMT Awards.

The Australian actress attended the event at Music City Center in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday night (07Jun17) to support her husband Keith Urban, who won four awards, including Video of the Year for Blue Ain't Your Color.

While the evening celebrated Keith's achievements, it was Nicole who stole the spotlight on the red carpet, where she posed in a black lace number with sheer panels from Virgil Abloh's Off-White fall/winter 2017 collection.

The Beguiled star chose to wear her blonde hair in loose curls, and accessorised with jewellery from Fred Leighton. Meanwhile, Keith also wore Off-White, opting for an edgy black shirt, black jeans and combat boots.

Nicole's CMT Awards appearance tops off a busy week for the star, who also attended the 2017 CFDA Awards in New York on Monday (05Jun17) in an Oscar de la Renta gown, and wore a floral Erdem outfit to the Glamour Women of the Year Awards in London on Tuesday (06Jun17).

Meanwhile, Keith's The Fighter duet partner Carrie Underwood also swept up at the show, becoming the most awarded act in the history of the CMT Awards with 17 wins.

But the former American Idol star won in the style stakes as well, dazzling in a crystal-covered Elie Madi minidress, with feather detailing on the skirt. She wore her hair in an edgy knotted updo, accessorised with Kimberly McDonald jewellery and carried an Atelier Swarovski clutch.

Miranda Lambert continued with the minidress trend, choosing to rock a black David Koma number which she matched with Joyce Echols shoes and a Judith Leiber clutch.

Hollywood actress Katherine Heigl made a sartorial statement too, donning a blood orange Lanvin dress and Stuart Weitzman shoes at the bash, where she cheered on her musician husband Josh Kelley.
