Rihanna channels sexy looks for Complex magazine

Rihanna has channelled seven different sexy looks for the cover of Complex magazine.

The pretty pop star shows off an extremely toned figure in the pictures, which range from topless shots with just her arms covering her modesty, to a cute bra-top and shorts ensemble.

Each cover was shot to represent the seven albums she has released so far, including the most recent Unapologetic.

The 24-year-old represented her first album Music of the Sun by donning a knitted yellow top and a pair of denim cut-offs.

Gradually, through the covers, her sexier side comes out, with Rihanna posing in a leather, bondage-style ensemble to represent album Rated R.

The Diamonds singer looks comfortable in the shoot, which is no wonder considering her own love of taking pictures.

Rihanna is known for posting regular snaps of herself on social networking site Instagram and addressed the topic in her interview with the magazine.

“It’s narcissistic, but whatever - everyone does it. I’m capturing personality… Everybody has their thing they like or don’t like to see. It’s all in your head. That’s why people take their own pictures, because it’s difficult for someone else to capture what you seek,” she explained.

The transition the star has made from fresh-faced girl at the beginning of her career, to the vixen image she has now, is clearly depicted through the seven covers.

For her 2011 Talk That Talk album, Rihanna covers up a little more, in combat trousers, camouflage-print bra and matching headband. The military gear represents the strong songs featured on the record, such as You Da One. For her latest musical offering, Rihanna channels the topless look she also sports on the cover of Unapologetic. Covering her modesty with just her arms and a bunch of polaroid pictures, the sultry singer gives the camera a smouldering look.

Rihanna opened up about Unapologetic and what her current music means to her.

“When I was making this record I had no intention except the truth. So whatever is there is real. It’s raw. That’s why the album is called Unapologetic,” she revealed.
