The fighter-turned-actress was dressed by Israeli designer Galia Lahav for her nuptials.
UFC star-turned-actress Ronda Rousey stunned guests at her secret Hawaiian wedding by wearing a couture bridal gown by Israeli designer Galia Lahav.
The mixed martial arts record-holder married fellow fighter Travis Browne on Saturday (26Aug17) - the same night as the highly-publicised boxing match between Floyd Mayweather, Jr. and UFC star Conor McGregor in a bid to keep the ceremony as low-key as possible.
The happy couple opted to match altar outfits with bone and tan-coloured garments, and fashion designer Galia reveals she and her team worked with Ronda every step of the way as she chose her bridal gown.
“We collaborated with Ronda and her stylist, Alejandro Peraza, in order to create the best for them,” Lahav told Page Six. “Both of them came to our L.A. (Los Angeles) flagship store in Hollywood, met with our stylists and had fittings like every other bride. It didn’t take much because they seemed to know exactly what’s best for her
"They were aiming for one gown, which isn’t much different, however they chose the Harper (style) once they saw it.”
The Harper dress is one of the looks from Galia's Le Secret Royal bridal collection, a couture line offering gowns priced from $10,000 (£7,700) to $14,000 (£10,800).
Ronda's Harper look was a body-hugging dress with hand-beaded lace, a plunging decolletage and scalloped motifs.
“It was such a relief to work with someone like Ronda, who knows who she is and knows exactly what she wants,” Galia gushed. “We can’t speak for Ronda, but we feel that she felt comfortable with our service and designs.”
