Raven-haired sales rep Lauren Leckey from Co Antrim has been crowned Miss Northern Ireland 2019.
The 20-year-old Miss Spice (Templepatrick) took the tiara from last year's winner, nurse Katharine Walker from Hillsborough, at a glittering gala event at the Europa Hotel in Belfast last night.
The former Hunter House College pupil won an extensive prize package including an all-expenses-paid trip to the Miss World competition which will take place in Pattaya City, Thailand on December 7.
And to help ensure that the new Miss Northern Ireland cuts a stylish figure at Miss World, she will take home a wardrobe of designer dresses from Rosie's Closet as part of the prize package.
Lauren, from Stoneyford, will also enjoy a modelling contract with ACA Models, and treats including a year's supply of beauty treatments and a Mini Cooper car.
Ahead of the contest, Lauren, who described herself as "hardworking, sociable and creative", was asked what would make her stand out from the other contestants.
"In 2005 my dad was in a motorbike accident and as a result is paralysed from the waist down," she said.
"Growing up so close to someone with a physical disability has taught me so much, and has given me so much compassion and understanding for people living with physical disabilities."
