Spring fashion: 3 casual outfits for Easter Holiday trips
Belfast fashion and beauty blogger Carolyn Henderson puts together three casual outfits that are perfect for your Easter travels
Who else can’t wait for Spring to show up?
I for one am looking forward to the dark skies and cold conditions making way for bright, sunny mornings and golden hued evenings. I’m eagerly anticipating the turn of the new season, bringing with it, colourful spring clothing with cute and vibrant prints and patterns.
As the Easter Holidays are just a handful of weeks away, I’ve put together a few outfits to inspire your Spring wardrobe. Casual outfit inspo that will be perfect for an Easter day trip, a family get together or even just a casual day shopping with friends.
1. Comfy Casual
These jeans were my favourite bargain of last year’s Spring shopping spree. They are the very first pair of mom jeans that I’ve tried on that actually fitted and flattered my shape. They’re high waisted, embroidered with a pretty, floral pattern and turn up ends.
I expect this season to bring with it a whole host of new embroidered styles to shop from, or if you’re feeling a little diy-esque or wanting to release your inner 90s child, then you could always opt for an iron on embroidered patch! I’ve teamed mine with this big, fluffy, chenille jumper from Stradivarius with black mules and my electronista bag from Knomo London.

2. Parisienne Chic
It’s been many years since I’ve worn a beret, but the recent trend has made it’s way back into my wardrobe, bolder and brighter than ever before. I managed to snap up this Golden Girl jumper from Joanie Clothing before it went out of stock yet again and I can honestly say, it’s one of the best buying decisions I’ve ever made. I love the slogan and the sparkly, golden material is right up my street.
I would team these two beauties with a black a-line skirt and ankle boots for a look that every chic, parisienne girl would be proud of, complete with a super sweet scallop edge satchel.

3. Spring Shades
It wouldn’t be spring without blossoming florals! This outfit is my new season favourite as it incorporates signature spring hues and my fave accessories, my M&S shoes and cute cross body bag. I’ve a feeling you’ll be seeing a lot of this outfit over on my Instagram!
