Take your pick of the best beauty Advent calendars
Count down to Christmas in style with these treat-filled selections, says Katie Wright
With December not far off, it's time to choose an Advent calendar, and what a choice you've got this year.
More beauty brands than ever before have gathered pint-sized pots of their most famous products and housed them in beautiful boxes so you can mark each day of the month before Christmas with a lovely little surprise.
Some are so popular they instantly sold out, but don't worry, you've still got plenty of incredible options in the shops, from affordable assortments to blow-out behemoths.
So whether you're treating yourself or gifting a loved one, here's our pick of the best beauty Advent calendars of 2019...
1. Studio Advent Calendar, £20 (was £26), Superdrug
For the make-up maven who loves to switch up her look, this pink sparkle-themed parade of 24 products includes lip glosses, eyeshadow palettes, glitter eyeliners and loose glitter pots, so you can dazzle all through December.
2. Mini Mani Month, £50, Ciate
Ciate's Mini Mani Month was one of the first ever beauty Advent calendars and it's still one of the best. This year's nail polish compilation includes 10 new colours and six mystery shades in miniature sizes, plus a full-size glitter varnish and a cute little file.
