Northern Ireland teenager Tabea Weyrauch is on course to join the ranks of the world’s top supermodels following her debut on the catwalks of Europe.
Her professional career has got off to a flying start with |starring roles during the recent Paris and Stockholm fashion weeks.
The 17-year-old Foyle and Londonderry College pupil featured heavily at both events and has been photographed in fashion elite magazines such as Elle.
Tabea celebrated what she called “the best Christmas present ever” after winning RTE’s televised Model Scouts |competition in December.
She has since been signed to IMG, one of the world’s top model agencies.
Tabea is now earning her slot on its books alongside many of the world’s most famous beauties, including Kate Moss, Gisele Bundchen, Heidi Klum, Naomi Campbell, Mischa Barton and Liv Tyler.
She was born in Hamburg, Germany, but has lived in Derry since she was six years old. Tabea described the catwalk experience as “thrilling and really enjoyable”.
