With temperatures dropping it's time to turn up the style with some winter looks that will get you from the starting line to the winners' enclosure at the Down Royal Festival of Racing.

From couture to coats, you need an outfit that will cover all bases (and extremities) for a seasonal wager.

The winner of the best-dressed competition, sponsored by international design supremo Kris Turnbull, will jet off to Monaco on a luxurious four-star break, so looking good is a must at the event - one of the highlights of the National Hunt calendar.

The Festival of Racing takes place this Friday and Saturday.

Gates open at 11am on both days, with the first races starting at around 1pm. Admission is £12 on Friday and £15 on Saturday.
