Travis Scott designing Houston Rockets playoffs T-shirt

The musician took his new girlfriend Kylie Jenner to cheer on the Rockets in the first round of the playoffs.

Rapper Travis Scott has helped to design a new T-shirt for his hometown Houston Rockets basketball team to cheer them on in the NBA Playoffs.

The Goosebumps star was invited to create an exclusive top to give away to ticketholders for Game 6 of the team's Western Conference semi-finals against fellow Texans, the San Antonio Spurs, on Thursday night (11May17).

The result is a red T-shirt featuring the Rockets logo in white, with their playoff slogan, "Run As One", printed underneath in the MC's handwriting.

One side of the clothing item bears the words, "Curated By Travis Scott," along with the Game 6 details, while it also promotes the rapper's new record label, Cactus Jack, on the left sleeve.

Sharing images of the new merchandise on Twitter on Wednesday (10May17), he wrote, "Cactus jack x Rockets tees for game 6 @HoustonRockets See u there (sic)".

The project brings Travis' career full circle, after previously serving as a ball boy for the Rockets while he was in high school.

He will take on the role of the team's hype man before the big game at the Toyota Center on Thursday, before having to dash across Houston to the Revention Music Center to perform for fans at his own gig later that night.

Despite his concert commitments, Travis will be hoping to rally the Rockets to a much-needed win to force a Game 7, as the Spurs currently lead the series 3-2.

Travis has been spotted courtside at a number of Rockets games in recent months, and also chose the home venue to go public with his rumoured romance with Kim Kardashian's youngest sister, Kylie Jenner, as his team beat the Oklahoma City Thunder in late April (17) to advance to the second round of the playoffs.
