Vinny Guadagnino: Haircuts are vital
Vinny Guadagnino says looks are “all about the haircut”.
The reality TV star is currently appearing in the fourth season of the hit MTV show Jersey Shore, which sees him and his castmates take over the streets of Florence, Italy.
The clan are renowned for their wild antics and are regularly seen getting into trouble on the popular reality show. The group are also famously vain when it comes to their head-turning style. Vinny and the rest of the boys - Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino, Paul ‘Pauly D’ DelVecchio and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro - are famed for wearing loud slogan T-shirts, jewellery and sneakers.
The 23-year-old says his hair is most important to him when getting ready for the day’s events.
“For me, it’s all about the haircut. I don’t have a lot of hair to style, so I keep it nice and fresh and tight. I actually go to the barbershop every five days,” he told Parade.
“As soon as your haircut is on point, you have to make sure your outfit is fully ironed, you smell good, and you have clean sneakers on. Pretty much the head-to-toe look.”
Vinny has described his personal style. The American-Italian star likes to mix more dressy attire with a relaxed look.
“I like to be dressy casual. I wear jeans and nice sneakers. I wear nice clothes, but not super dressed up,” he explained.
“I don’t wear too much jewellery. I keep it simple and maybe wear just a little chain.”
Vinny has revealed who he thinks looks the best in the Jersey Shore house. The TV personality says Pauly D always looks camera-ready.
“I think my boy Pauly is always fresh. He definitely has a huge collection of sneakers. He has a very different style than me though, his is kind of loud and flashy and I’m opposite from that. But the one thing we both have in common is that we get our hair cut all the time,” he said.
On the castmate with the worst style, Vinny named Mike ‘The Situation’. He said the confident star needs some style guidance.
“Probably Situation,” he said when asked who the worst-dressed Jersey Shore star was. “Sometimes he does stuff with his hair that I don’t even know what it is. He definitely needs some help.”
