Zendaya freaked out by crazy foot peel
The 20-year-old beauty admits to having "rough a** feet".
Actress Zendaya feared she may have jumped in too deep when her feet began "peeling like crazy" following an at-home treatment.
The Spider-Man: Homecoming beauty decided to tryout the Baby Foot peel recently and the experiment appeared to be unsuccessful at first.
In a new post on her website, entitled I Tried A Foot Peel!!!, the 20-year-old star admitted she decided to use the popular exfoliation product because she has "rough a** feet."
"I tried it (the Baby Foot peel) and was like, 'This is bulls**t,' because nothing happened," she wrote. "Then a couple weeks later, I was like, 'What the f*#k is wrong with my feet!?' They looked a mess and were seriously peeling like crazy."
However, Zendaya turned out to be pleasantly surprised by the results.
"But, it was actually great," she explained. "It worked really well and my feet were so smooth after! (I'd show you pictures, but you'd probably throw up!)"
The Baby Foot peel treatment is made with a combination of salicylic and glycolic acid designed to exfoliate dead skin from feet. After applying the product, the feet are wrapped up in plastic sock booties to seal in the serum. Skin will peel from the feet for several days after the initial treatment, like a sunburn, with some users waiting up to a week for the process to end.
The Baby Foot peel Zendaya used is available for sale online for $32 (£25) and Elle UK editors also recommend Starskin's Exfoliating Double Layer Foot Masks as an alternative, which offers the same foot-buffing, exfoliating treatment.
