With spring just round the corner, now is the time to add a splash of zingy colour to your wardrobe with a palette of citrus bursts.

A key trend this season, look out for tropical hues of bitter lemon, bright yellow and luscious lime.

From Michael Kors to Missoni, designers sent their models down the catwalks in eye-catching, mouth-watering citrus shades. While Burberry favoured electric lime, Balmain opted for mellow yellow.

Fruity colours have filtered down to the high street, with dresses, tops, coats and underwear given the tropical treatment. Check out H! by Henry Holland at Debenhams, New Look and Next for this season's hottest colours.

Lime and lemon can be tricky to wear head-to-toe, so why not brighten up an outfit with a citrus coloured bag, belt or pair of shoes and banish those winter blues for good.
