Fashion Spy: 'Pixie Lott is very fashionable. Her look is quirky but she keeps it fresh'

Our reporter Rachel Dean checks out the style at Victoria Square, Belfast.

Molly Jeffrey (17), model, Holywood

Wore what? Dress, £42, Topshop; boots, £80, Urban Outfitters.

Why? My style is young and modern. My outfits are always quite modest and simple.

Who? I would definitely choose Gigi Hadid as my style icon. Her look is fresh, young and a little bit quirky.


Alex Greer (18), student, Lisburn

Wore what? Jumper, £25, Hollister; jacket, £60, River Island; jeans, £20, boots, £25, both New Look; bag, £125, Michael Kors.

Why? My look could be described as punk casual. I tend to choose a lot of edgy, black items.

Who? Rita Ora’s style is so funky. She’s edgy too, so I follow her style quite a bit.

Why? I’d say my look is sophisticated but understated.

Who? I really love Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s style — it’s simple but stunning. She always looks good in pictures.


Catherine Rooney (25), account executive, Belfast

Why? My style could be described as smart casual. I love bright fashion, so I follow the spring/summer trends.

Who? Pixie Lott is very fashionable. Her look is quirky but she keeps it fresh.


Lynsey Warren (25), care assistant, Belfast

Wore what? Jumper, £40, River Island; jacket, £35, ASOS; jeans, £40, Zara; boots, £18, New Look; bag, £30, Miss Selfridge.

Why? I would say my everyday look is very bright and usually consists of a mixture of lots of different styles. I prefer casual trends.

Who? I really like Megan McKenna’s style because sometimes she can be very casual but still look amazing.

Why? I would describe my style as distinguished but quite casual. I always keep track of fashion trends to maintain a modern look.

Who? I love Emma Watson’s look because it is so fashion forward and young.

Why? I’d say my look is greatly inspired by vintage fashion. I love layering and mixing black with block colours.

Who? I love Rooney Mara’s style because it is really individualistic but classic too. Her sister, Kate, has a similar style. They both look great.
