Fashion spy: Rihanna makes bold choices


Our reporter Rachel Dean checks out the style in Victoria Square, Belfast.

Drew Murray (16), student, Dundee

Why? My style is very modern and young because I’m always shopping in high street stores.

Who? I love how unique Rihanna’s style is.

Laura Hamilton (17), student, Carrickfergus

Wore what? Jumper, £18, Rebellious Fashion; skirt, £20, boots, £25, both New Look; coat, £40, Topshop.

Why? My look is always very relaxed and easy. I love autumnal colours at the moment.

Who? I like Amber Davies’ style — it’s fun, feminine and on trend.

Hannah Campbell (30), teacher, Belfast

Wore what? Dress, £30, bag, £20, both Zara; coat, £5, F&F; boots, £20, Topshop.

Why? I keep a classic look. I love adding a little bit of faux fur or a touch of bold colour.

Who? Blake Lively has style. She keeps it classy, but she isn’t afraid to step out in different looks.

Teresa Fweney (61), Post Office manager, Londonderry

Why?  My style is classic and I usually wear a lot of neutral colours. I love Zara’s style of clothing — it’s so me.

Who? Kate Middleton’s look is the epitome of elegance. I love the Jenny Packham dresses that she always wears. They are stunning.

Sophie Torrans (20), student, Belfast

Why? I would say my look is quite smart and formal but with a quirky edge. I dress to the season and I’m loving khaki at the moment.

Who? Cool FM’s Melissa Riddell has a quirky look, too. I definitely take points from her style choices.

Why? My style is straight off the high street, so I would say my look is up-to-date. I do love the occasional bargain from charity shops.

Who? I think Sienna Miller has great style. Her looks are always feminine and sexy.

Naomi Bedi (37), teacher, Magherafelt

Why? I don’t stick to one style and like a mixture of different looks. I wear lots of black but with a little pop of colour.

Who? Jenna Dewan Tatum has super classy style, but she still has a lot of fun with her look.

Why? I would have to describe my style as quite effortless. I wear a lot of neutral colours as they are much easier to pair with than very vivid colours.

Who? I think Caroline Flack’s style is really cool. She has an effortless, high street look.
