Folk awards set for Northern Ireland debut

This prestigious event, held in Northern Ireland for the first time, unites the cream of folk, acoustic and roots music. This year, performers include Paul Brady, Cara Dillon, Lankum and Eliza Carthy & The Wayward Band.

The event will be simulcast live on BBC Radio 2 and BBC Radio Ulster, and will be available on the Radio 2 website, while televised highlights will be shown at a later date on BBC Four.

She has also brought Irish music, past and present, to an ever-growing global audience.
