Roasted Broccoli, Crispy Prosciutto & Sage Brown Butter Pasta with Goats Cheese

Having children has certainly changed the way I cook. The list of requests is long when it comes to dinnertime with our two little ones and I’m now adept in ensuring chicken doesn’t touch pasta, fried eggs have the yolks cut out and I’ve learned that arranging foods into smiley faces is always a winner.

Cooking for kids requires a level of advanced mind reading and gambling that you may never get just right. My only advice is to try, try and try again. For mid week meals, I am certainly not going to pin my hopes on a slow cooked ragu or a chicken & leek pie or anything for that matter that takes too much time to prepare. Easy win plates of food with separate components big on flavour that will keep us all happy is what my mid-week cooking is all about.
