The popular Twilight Market at St George's is set to return to Belfast next week with a special 'Summer Beach Party’ theme.

The second of three specially-themed events for 2017 will take place from Tuesday, August 1 - Wednesday, August 2.

The market will run from 4pm – 11pm each day and admission is free.

Visitors can sample the artisan local food, drink and craft stalls, with a programme of entertainment and cookery demonstrations scheduled for each day.

Music will be supplied by local artists The Jazzmeisters, Robin Martin, Jim ‘The King’ Brown and The Motown Sensations.

Over the course of the two evenings, a number top local chefs, including Kate Allen from Thai-Tanic and Stephen Jeffers, will be sharing some of their recipes, while there will also be a cocktail masterclass each evening.

Meanwhile, free face painting and balloon modelling, storytelling and arts and crafts workshops are on offer for the kids between 4pm and 8.30pm each day.

The ‘Summer Beach Party’ follows the success of St George's ‘Twinkling Winter Market’ in November.

Almost 46,500 people visited the two Twilight Markets which were held last year.
